Today, is my first encounter that my baby-girl has been fussy. She never cries, well rarely. But today, after 2 weeks of teething; it is finally getting to her! It's her two fangs.
So my question is, teething gel or tablets? I refused to use Orajel but have considered the natural kind & heard raving reviews on Hylands teething tablets?
The dr suggested giving half a dose of infant tylenol when she first started teething a few weeks ago. But I rather not give her meds, & go a more natural route! I'm open for suggestions on what to do? & I will try & let you know the result!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

we are in the middle of teething ourselves...(fun isn't it). I am with you...I refuse to give Aydan Orajel. I have heard that the tablets work pretty well. My friends that have little ones all used those...but we haven't yet. Aydan really enjoys chewing on anything...and we have given him some infant tylenol and that did work for a little bit. Let me know what you find works for you.
ReplyDeleteI use humpreys lactose free teething relief! Its 100% natural. They come in the form of thin strips u lay on their tongue and they just melt in her mouth :) works good for my kids :)
ReplyDeleteI have 4 kids and used the Hyland's successfully with each of them. Sometimes it was clearly really hurting just so much and I did use infant tylenol... it worked well, too. Wishing you the best :)
ReplyDeleteAww your baby is so beautiful! Congrats.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog through one of the Saturday blog hops! Have a great weekend.

We use Hylands everything from the sniffles and sneezes to the colic baby homopathic tablets....go for it. I'm like you and would rather go more natural than just medicate. The only draw back to the tablets is that they seem to work for 45 minutes or so until you need to give them more. Also a clean wet cloth towel can sooth gums if they chew on it...my son hated cold things in his mouth, but loved nawing on the wet wash cloth.
ReplyDeleteHope that helps and I'm following you from the weekend blog hop! Lovely blog!!
